Innovative Home Builders (IHB) was founded in 2021 with the intention of building custom, high quality homes designed to meet the desires and expectations of each client.

Gavin Pehl, owner of Innovative Home Builders and Prescott Native, has been building homes in the Prescott area since 2001. He has developed long standing relationships with local subcontractors and vendors, ensuring prompt response times in getting proposals and confidence in the quality of their work.

This network of licensed sub contractors allows IHB to build any style home while using many unique and innovative building materials to meet the needs of any prospective home owner.

Gavin also owns Pehl Contracting inc, a civil company with an A General Engineering License. With over 25 years experience in grading, excavation, underground utilities and foundations, Gavin and his crew of highly experienced operators have a deep understanding of how to best prepare any site for your one of a kind home.

Being a Prescott native, Gavin has encountered every soil condition that Prescott and the surrounding areas have to offer, and has the necessary tools and equipment to complete any project. This unique skillset and expertise is rare in a home builder, yet, the grading and foundation are a critical component to the integrity of the home and the success of any build.
